New Delhi, February 9 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 12 to Rs 5,552 per quintal in futures trading on Monday due to abundant supply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery fell by Rs 12, or 0.22 percent, to Rs 5,552 per quintal, with an open interest of 43,120 lots.
Market participants attributed the decline in guar seed prices to increased supply from growing regions.
