New Delhi, Feb 27: Guar seed prices witnessed a decline on Thursday, dropping by ₹17 to ₹5,302 per quintal in the futures market, influenced by increased supply from key producing regions.

On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange (NCDEX), guar seed contracts for March delivery recorded a 0.32% decrease, settling at ₹5,302 per quintal with an open interest of 47,425 lots.

According to market analysts, the downward trend is primarily attributed to ample arrivals in major growing regions, leading to increased supply pressure on prices.
