Mumbai, Feb 27 – Actor-producer Harman Baweja has joined forces with producer Sidharth Jain for a three-film deal, aiming to bring bold and immersive storytelling to Indian cinema.
Baweja, known for backing films like Mrs starring Sanya Malhotra, and Jain, the producer behind the critically acclaimed Trial By Fire (2023) featuring Abhay Deol and Rajshri Deshpande, will collaborate through their respective banners, Baweja Studios and House of Talkies.
Expressing his excitement about the partnership, Baweja, who recently earned praise for his acting in Scoop, highlighted their shared vision for compelling narratives. “Great storytelling requires courage, and that’s exactly what Sidharth brings to the table. Watching Trial By Fire, I saw a creator unafraid to tackle difficult narratives with sensitivity and depth. At Baweja Studios, we focus on stories that resonate deeply, whether it's Mrs, which highlights a sensitive issue, or Khwaabon Ka Jhamela, which explores relationships and personal growth,” he stated.
Jain echoed the sentiment, emphasizing their goal to redefine storytelling in Indian cinema. “Harman has a rare ability to balance thought-provoking narratives with commercial appeal, and that’s exactly the kind of synergy we need in today’s evolving content landscape. Through this three-project deal, we aim to create stories that are bold, immersive, and emotionally compelling,” he said.
Baweja Studios has an exciting lineup, including Dil Ka Darwaza Kholna Darling, directed by Vikas Bahl and starring Jaya Bachchan, Siddhant Chaturvedi, and Wamiqa Gabbi. Another upcoming project, Boy From Andaman, is being co-produced with Delhi Crime creator Richie Mehta and Imagine Entertainment.
With this strategic partnership, Baweja and Jain are set to push creative boundaries and bring fresh narratives to Indian audiences.
