Colombo, May 11 – India skipper Harmanpreet Kaur won the toss and chose to bat first against Sri Lanka in the final of the Women's Tri-Nation ODI Series held in Colombo on Sunday.

Team India entered the title clash as table-toppers, securing three victories out of four matches in the round-robin stage of the three-nation contest. Sri Lanka booked their spot in the final with two wins and two losses, finishing second in the points table.

Debut for Kranti Goud, Dilhari Misses Out​

India handed a maiden ODI cap to medium-pacer Kranti Goud, who came into the playing XI in place of Shuchi Upadhyay. Meanwhile, Sri Lanka faced a setback as their key all-rounder Kavisha Dilhari was ruled out of the match due to illness.

In a strategic reshuffle, the hosts brought in Inoka Ranaweera and Piumi Wathsala, replacing Manudi Nanayakkara and Inoshi Fernando.
