
Rajamahendravaram (Andhra Pradesh), February 16 A three-year-old male tiger captured in the East Godavari district was released into the Papikondalu National Park after being monitored for a few days, the Forest Department said on Monday.
The big cat was trapped on February 6 in the Kurmapuram village in the district after it wandered into human settlements, causing panic among the villagers.
"The tiger, which was previously captured in the East Godavari district, was released into the Papikondalu National Park on Saturday after obtaining necessary permissions and ensuring its health condition was good," an official from the Forest Department told
