Chennai, Feb 4 (PTI) – Dense fog in the early hours of Tuesday led to disruptions in flight operations at Chennai airport, causing delays and diversions of several international flights, officials confirmed.
Between 6 AM and 7 AM, reduced visibility forced authorities to divert incoming international flights from Muscat and Dubai to alternative airports in Tirupati and Hyderabad. Additionally, some domestic flights also experienced minor delays, officials added.
Passengers were advised to check with their respective airlines for updated schedules as operations gradually normalized.
