The prestigious International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Digital Awards 2025 kicked off in style as part of its grand Silver Jubilee celebrations in Jaipur on Saturday night. The glittering ceremony celebrated excellence in digital entertainment, honoring standout films, web series, and performances.

Netflix Film 'Amar Singh Chamkila' Dominates Film Category​

Imtiaz Ali’s critically acclaimed Netflix biopic, "Amar Singh Chamkila", starring Diljit Dosanjh as the legendary Punjabi singer, took home the Best Film award. Ali himself was recognized with the Best Director accolade, underscoring the film's impactful storytelling.

Outstanding Acting Honors in Film​

Actor Vikrant Massey received the award for Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male) for his role in Netflix’s thriller "Sector 36". Co-star Deepak Dobriyal won Best Supporting Actor (Male) for his remarkable performance in the same film.
Kriti Sanon earned the Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) award for her powerful role in Netflix’s mystery thriller "Do Patti", which also won Kanika Dhillon the prestigious Best Story (Original) award.

The Best Supporting Actor (Female) award was presented to Anupriya Goenka for her compelling performance in ZEE5’s series "Berlin".

Web Series Spotlight: 'Panchayat' Season 3 Triumphs​

Prime Video’s highly popular series, "Panchayat" (Season 3), was the night's standout winner, securing the coveted Best Series award. Jitendra Kumar, celebrated for his relatable portrayal, received the Best Performance in a Leading Role (Male), while Deepak Kumar Mishra took home the award for Best Direction.
Faisal Malik, who captivated audiences as Prahlad Cha, was honored with the Best Supporting Performance (Male) award, further cementing the show's massive popularity.
Shreya Chaudhry bagged Best Performance in a Leading Role (Female) for her role in the second season of Prime Video’s "Bandish Bandits", while Sanjeeda Shaikh won the Best Supporting Role (Female) for her stellar performance in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s debut OTT series, "Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar" (Netflix).

'Kota Factory' and Non-Scripted Category Winners​

Netflix's acclaimed series "Kota Factory" (Season 3) clinched the Best Story (Original) award, further celebrating Jitendra Kumar’s influential presence in digital storytelling.
In non-scripted categories, Netflix continued its winning streak with "Fabulous Lives Vs. Bollywood Wives", recognized as the Best Reality or Non-Scripted Series. The streaming giant’s documentary, "Yo Yo Honey Singh: Famous", won the title of Best Docuseries.
Anurag Saikia was recognized for Best Title Track for "Ishq Hai" from the third season of Netflix’s "Mismatched".


Star-Studded Evening and Electrifying Performances​

The gala evening was hosted by the dynamic trio—Aparshakti Khurana, Vijay Varma, and Abhishek Banerjee. It featured sensational performances by Nora Fatehi, musical duo Sachin-Jigar, melodious Shreya Ghoshal, and the vibrant Mika Singh.

The celebration witnessed the presence of numerous Bollywood luminaries, including Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Karan Johar, Madhuri Dixit, Bobby Deol, Pratik Gandhi, Jaideep Ahlawat, Ali Fazal, Richa Chadha, Nimrit Kaur, Karishma Tanna, Nushrratt Bharuccha, and Ravi Kishan, marking a memorable start to the Silver Jubilee celebrations of IIFA 2025.
