IISc Bengaluru to Host ‘Open Day’ on March 1, Invites Public to Explore Science and Innovation

Bengaluru, Feb 26: The Indian Institute of Science (IISc) has announced that it will open its gates to the public on March 1 for its annual ‘Open Day,’ a celebration of science and technology. The event is organized around the birth anniversary of the institute’s founder, J N Tata, and coincides with National Science Day.

From 9 AM to 5:30 PM, visitors will have the opportunity to explore the prestigious campus, witness exciting demonstrations, exhibitions, and hands-on experiments. In a statement, IISc encouraged everyone to participate in the event and experience cutting-edge advancements in science and engineering.

Students and researchers at IISc will showcase their work through engaging exhibits, interactive sessions, and scientific experiments. Additionally, the day will feature popular lectures, panel discussions, quizzes, and competitions across various departments and research centers.

Entry to the event is free, making it an excellent opportunity for science enthusiasts, students, and the general public to immerse themselves in the world of research and innovation at one of India’s premier institutions.
