The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast dense fog conditions in isolated areas of Himachal Pradesh today. The Met Department has predicted a period of rain and snowfall in isolated areas of Arunachal Pradesh today. Similar conditions are expected to prevail in Jammu, Kashmir, Ladakh, Gilgit, Baltistan, and Muzaffarabad tomorrow. According to the IMD, maximum temperatures will gradually rise by two to three degrees Celsius in Konkan, Goa, and Coastal Karnataka over the next 48 hours. Meanwhile, squally weather with wind speeds up to 55 kilometers per hour is likely to prevail in some parts of the southwest Bay of Bengal bordering the eastern Equatorial Indian Ocean.
