February 14, New Delhi – India is hosting the India–AI Impact Summit 2026 in New Delhi from February 16–20, 2026. The Summit is based on three key principles: People, Planet, and Progress, which define India's approach to collaboration in the field of AI. It will bring together global leaders, policymakers, innovators, and experts from around the world to discuss the future of AI.

At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, heads of state and ministerial delegations from 20 nations and over 45 countries will participate in the Summit. The Secretary-General of the United Nations and senior officials from several international organizations will also be involved in the discussions.

The Summit, hosted at the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, is being positioned as the first major global AI gathering in the Global South.

This event comes at a time when global AI ecosystems are undergoing significant changes. While large language models have shown rapid progress, policymakers and experts have increasingly emphasized the need for stronger data governance, diversified AI architectures, and sector-specific deployment.
