Union Minister Manohar Lal to Represent India in Brazil on May 19​

New Delhi, May 17—Union Minister Manohar Lal will represent India at the upcoming BRICS Energy Ministers' Meeting in Brazil on May 19. There, he will present the country's significant achievements in the power sector over the last ten years, according to an official statement from the Ministry of Power.

During the meeting, the minister will highlight key milestones, including a remarkable 90 percent growth in India's overall power generation capacity. He will also emphasize India's global leadership in renewable energy, green hydrogen initiatives, and biofuel advancements.

Focus on Innovation and Sustainability​

Manohar Lal’s presentation will showcase India's commitment to innovation-driven, sustainable development within the energy domain. The agenda includes progress in energy infrastructure, policy reforms, and new technologies to boost clean energy access and efficiency.
