Pilot Successfully Ejects, Avoids Casualties​


An Indian Air Force (IAF) fighter jet crashed in the hilly terrain of Haryana's Panchkula district on Friday, according to local police authorities. The pilot, demonstrating quick thinking and skill, ejected safely from the aircraft, preventing any loss of life or injury.


The incident occurred near Raipurrani in Panchkula district. The Station House Officer (SHO) of Raipurrani confirmed over the phone that the aircraft crashed in an unpopulated, hilly area, thus avoiding potential civilian casualties or property damage.


"The pilot maneuvered the aircraft away from any habitation on the ground," the SHO stated. He emphasized that due to the pilot’s prompt actions, no one on the ground was harmed.


Currently, authorities are investigating the crash site to determine the exact cause of the accident.
