Indian Air Force Successfully Executes Operation Sindoor in Retaliation to Terror Attack.webp

New Delhi, May 11 — The Indian Air Force (IAF) announced on Sunday that it has successfully executed its assigned tasks with precision during Operation Sindoor, which was launched in early May. The operation, initiated on May 7, aimed at dismantling seven terror infrastructures located in Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir as a retaliatory measure following the Pahalgam terror attack.

The IAF, in a statement, confirmed that the operation is "still ongoing" and urged the public to avoid speculation or the dissemination of unverified information. It ensured that all retaliatory actions were carried out in line with national objectives and with the highest levels of professionalism.

The IAF highlighted that the operations were conducted discreetly, with strategic precision, ensuring the objectives were met without escalation. The force emphasized that these retaliations were part of a larger effort to address Pakistani provocations.

India and Pakistan reached a mutual understanding on Saturday to halt all military actions—on land, air, and sea—immediately. Despite this ceasefire agreement, the IAF maintained that Operation Sindoor remains active and continues to be executed according to its planned strategy.

The IAF reiterated its commitment to national security and called for patience, promising a more detailed briefing on the operation in the future once all activities are concluded.
