Commerce and Industry Minister Piyush Goyal stated today that India is at the forefront of technological advancement, and that this progress is only possible when both the government and the private sector encourage young innovators. He made this statement while addressing the INDovation, Medtech Innovation and Startup Showcase Programme in New Delhi.
Mr. Goyal highlighted that India has opened up vast markets through various trade agreements and noted that most developed countries now have free trade agreements with the nation. Speaking to the media, the Minister expressed his admiration for India's growing innovation and startup ecosystem. He stated that the enthusiasm and dedication shown by the country's innovators give him full confidence that India is on the right track.
