In Jammu and Kashmir, following a comprehensive security review and discussion, Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha has ordered the reopening of additional tourist spots in the Kashmir and Jammu divisions, which had been temporarily closed as a precautionary measure. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that three tourist spots in the Jammu division, including Devi Pindi in Reasi, Mahu Mangat in Ramban, and Mughal Maidan in Kishtwar, will be reopened immediately. Additionally, 11 tourist spots in the Kashmir division, including Yousmarg and Doodhpathri in Budgam; Dandipora Park in Kokernag, Anantnag; Peer Ki Gali, Dubjan, and Padpawan in Shopian; Astanpora and Tulip Garden in Srinagar; Thajwas Glacier and Hung Park in Ganderbal, and Wullar/ Watlab in Baramulla, will also be reopened immediately. The three sites in the Kashmir division – Gurez and Athwatoo in Bandipora, Bangus in Kupwara, and one site in the Jammu division – Ramkund in Ramban – will be reopened once the snow has cleared.
