Srinagar, May 17 — In a continued effort to curb terror-related activities in the Kashmir Valley, the Jammu and Kashmir Police’s State Investigation Agency (SIA) carried out coordinated raids across multiple locations on Saturday.
According to officials, the raids were conducted in the areas of Sopore, Baramulla, Handwara, Ganderbal, and Srinagar. These operations are part of the agency's ongoing campaign against terrorism and its support networks operating in the region.
The search operations aimed to unearth vital leads and disrupt the infrastructure aiding terror elements in Jammu and Kashmir. However, specific details regarding the recoveries or arrests, if any, were not disclosed at the time of reporting.
The SIA has intensified its actions in recent months, reinforcing the administration’s commitment to counter-terrorism and maintaining peace in the Union Territory.
