Jaipur Crime News: Woman Stabbed and Robbed by Domestic Helps in Ambabari Area

A shocking incident of robbery and assault occurred in Jaipur’s Ambabari area on Monday evening, as a 48-year-old woman named Jyoti was stabbed and robbed by her two recently hired domestic helps and their accomplice.

According to police, Jyoti was alone at her residence at the time of the attack. Her husband, Devendra, was away on a business trip, while their son, Shailesh, was managing the family’s shop located in the New Aatish Market.

Police revealed that Devendra had recently employed two young men, identified as Indrajit and Ashok—both in their mid-twenties—as domestic helps. The accused took advantage of Jyoti being alone and invited their accomplice, Radhe, to the house. They proceeded to gag her with a towel, tied her hands and legs, and stabbed her multiple times when she resisted.

The trio then fled the scene with jewellery stolen from the house. Jyoti's cries alerted her brother-in-law, who resides nearby. He immediately rushed to her aid and freed her from restraints.

Jaipur police have registered a case, and intensive efforts are currently underway to apprehend the suspects involved in this violent robbery.
