Ranchi, March 1: The Jharkhand Academic Council (JAC) has announced fresh dates for the retest of the Class 10 Hindi and Science papers, which were previously cancelled due to an alleged paper leak. According to an official statement on Saturday, the re-examinations will be held on March 7 for Hindi and March 8 for Science.
The JAC had scrapped the examinations for these subjects on February 20 after reports surfaced that the question papers had been leaked on social media. In response, the Jharkhand Police launched an investigation and have so far arrested 10 individuals in connection with the leak.
The ongoing Class 10 and Class 12 board exams, which commenced across Jharkhand on February 11, are being conducted under strict security measures. Over 7.84 lakh students have registered for the exams at 2,086 centres across the state.
Authorities have assured that adequate measures are in place to prevent further incidents, ensuring a fair and transparent examination process.
