
Lieutenant General Pratik Sharma, Commander of the Northern Army, reviewed security measures aimed at strengthening the counter-terrorism framework at a joint meeting in the Udhampur district. According to a report by Akashvani Jammu, the Army Commander chaired the weekly joint control centers' meeting virtually yesterday, as announced by the Northern Command headquarters on X. In addition to senior military leadership, the meeting was attended by senior officials from the Police, CRPF, and other stakeholders from the Srinagar and Jammu divisions. The discussions focused on intelligence sharing, enhancing joint preparedness, refining inter-agency collaboration, and further strengthening the counter-terrorism framework. This meeting is particularly significant given the ongoing joint operations across various areas within the Union Territory and the information regarding threat perception.
