New Delhi, March 1: JSW MG Motor India witnessed robust retail growth in February 2025, recording a 16.3% increase with 4,956 units sold, compared to 4,261 units in February last year.
However, wholesale figures experienced a decline, standing at 4,002 units last month versus 4,595 units during the same month the previous year. The company attributed this drop to a temporary reduction in production at its Halol manufacturing facility. This planned slowdown was necessary for critical modifications aimed at accommodating new product introductions and stabilizing the production of its popular EV model, MG Windsor.
Electric Vehicles Drive Growth for JSW MG Motor India
Electric vehicles (EVs) continued to lead the charge, contributing an impressive 78% of JSW MG Motor India's total February sales. Highlighting this success, the MG Windsor achieved a significant milestone by surpassing a cumulative production of 15,000 units. This achievement underscores the company's growing foothold in India's rapidly expanding electric passenger vehicle segment.Upcoming Launches: MG Cyberster and MG M9
Further fueling its expansion plans, JSW MG Motor India is preparing to enhance its luxury segment offerings through its premium channel, MG Select.
