National, February 27, 2025 – Jupiter Tatravagonka Railwheel Factory Pvt. Ltd., a subsidiary of Jupiter Wagons Limited (BSE: 533272; NSE: JWL), has been awarded a ₹255 crore contract from Braithwait & Co. for the supply of 9,140 wheelsets of 840 mm diameter for 25-ton axle load applications.
This contract further strengthens Jupiter Wagons' position as a leading domestic manufacturer of high-performance railway wheelsets, reinforcing India's push towards self-reliance in railway infrastructure.

Strategic Expansion and Capacity Growth
To meet the growing demand, Jupiter Wagons is significantly expanding its production capabilities. The company is setting up a state-of-the-art facility in Odisha, which will enhance its annual capacity from 20,000 forged wheels and axles to 1,00,000 wheelsets.
