Netflix India announced on Monday that its anticipated crime drama, "Khakee: The Bengal Chapter," starring popular Bengali actors Jeet and Prosenjit Chatterjee, is scheduled for release on March 20.
Directed by acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, renowned for hits such as "Baby," "Aiyaary," "Special 26," "M.S. Dhoni: The Untold Story," and "Sikandar Ka Muqaddar," this series serves as the follow-up to Pandey’s successful 2022 show, "Khakee: The Bihar Chapter."
Set in the early 2000s, the storyline unfolds within a city plagued by corruption, power struggles, and rampant gangsterism. According to Netflix, the narrative focuses on the intricate battle for dominance among gangsters, politicians, and law enforcement, reflecting a complex interplay where justice frequently struggles to prevail.
