In Jammu and Kashmir, Chief Minister Omar Abdullah is scheduled to introduce a bill to amend the Jammu and Kashmir State Civil Courts Act (Svt) 1977 (L.A. Bill No. 03 of 2026) in the Legislative Assembly today, according to the agenda. Akashvani Jammu correspondent reports that the Assembly will also hold discussions and vote on the grants for the year 2026-27. These include grants related to education, sports and youth services, health and medical education, family welfare, police, social welfare, and nutrition. The proceedings are scheduled to begin at 10 AM with the Question Hour.
