Bijnor, Uttar Pradesh – February 28: A 35-year-old woman lost her life in a tragic leopard attack while collecting fodder for her cattle in a forested region of Bijnor district, officials confirmed on Friday.

According to forest range officer Dushyant Kumar, the victim, identified as Suman from Chaudheri village, had ventured into the forest on Thursday evening but failed to return home. Concerned family members and locals launched a search operation, which led to the grim discovery of her partially eaten body in a nearby field later that night.

Following the incident, authorities sent the remains for post-mortem examination, while forest officials have intensified efforts to locate and capture the leopard responsible for the attack.

This tragic event has raised concerns among residents about the increasing presence of wild animals in human-inhabited areas, prompting officials to take necessary measures to prevent further incidents.
