February 09, New Delhi: Several questions are scheduled to be answered during Question Hour today in both Houses, and important documents will be presented.
In the Lok Sabha, members will discuss the Industrial Relations Code (Amendment) Bill, 2026, which was introduced on Wednesday.
Meanwhile, the Rajya Sabha will conclude the discussion on the General Budget. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will respond to the discussion. On Wednesday, she addressed the budget debate in the Lok Sabha, emphasizing the government’s focus on robust infrastructure, labor-intensive sectors, and employment generation to facilitate growth.
Sitharaman also highlighted that inflation has declined under the NDA government, compared to the double-digit levels during the UPA regime, and reaffirmed that the Modi government is working in the country’s interest.
