Los Angeles, May 17—Hollywood actor Luke Evans has officially joined the cast of Lorraine Darrow's upcoming action thriller Traction. The film also stars Noomi Rapace, marking a reunion between the two actors who shared the screen in the 2019 psychological thriller Angel of Mine.

A Gritty Tale Set in War-Torn Chechnya​

Traction follows the gripping story of a former US soldier who embarks on a high-stakes humanitarian mission through war-ravaged Chechnya. Evans will portray a seasoned American war photographer, lending a critical perspective to the unfolding chaos and drama.

Star Power and Reunion​

Known for his dynamic roles in Dracula Untold and Beauty and the Beast, Luke Evans brings intensity and emotional depth to his characters. Noomi Rapace, celebrated for her performances in The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo series, adds further strength to the film's cast. Their reunion in Traction promises compelling on-screen chemistry.

Production Details​

Janette Day, Dennis Davidson, and Simon Moseley are producing the film under the banner of CrossDay Productions. Principal photography is slated to begin in August 2025 in Spain.
