Mumbai, April 11 – Madhur Bajaj, a longstanding non-executive director at Bajaj Auto Ltd, passed away in Mumbai on Friday morning. He was 63.
According to company sources, Bajaj had been receiving treatment at Breach Candy Hospital in South Mumbai after being admitted a few days ago due to a health-related issue. He suffered a stroke two days prior to his demise.
He breathed his last at around 5 a.m. on Friday at the hospital. Further details regarding his passing are awaited.
Madhur Bajaj was a prominent figure in the Indian automotive sector and played a vital role in the strategic direction of Bajaj Auto, one of the country’s leading two-wheeler and three-wheeler manufacturers.
