Kathua, February 14: In connection with the Mahashivratri festival, MLA Kathua Dr. Bharat Bhushan and Deputy Commissioner Kathua Rajesh Sharma inaugurated a Kisan Mela and Rural Sports Meet at the ancient Shiv Temple in Aryan Nagari. They inspected stalls set up by government and private agencies showcasing modern farming techniques, while rural sports events encouraged youth participation. Winners were awarded prizes. The dignitaries stated that the event aimed to raise awareness among farmers and promote religious tourism.
