Shocking Family Tragedy Unfolds in Uttar Pradesh's Unnao District
Unnao, Uttar Pradesh — A 35-year-old man allegedly killed his wife and two young daughters before taking his own life in a heart-wrenching incident reported on Monday, police said.According to Superintendent of Police Deepak Bhuker, the man, identified as Amit, was found hanging in his home on Monday morning. When officers reached the residence, they discovered the lifeless bodies of his wife, Geeta (30), and their two daughters, aged approximately 10 and 6, lying inside a room.
Police noted that there were no visible injury marks on the bodies. Initial investigations suggest that Amit may have killed his wife and daughters before committing suicide.
Amit's brother informed authorities that Amit had been mentally disturbed for some time and was facing ongoing domestic issues.
A case has been registered and a detailed investigation is underway to ascertain the full circumstances surrounding the tragedy.
