Fourth Arrest in Recent Days Over Anti-National Social Media Posts

Muzaffarnagar (Uttar Pradesh), May 14 — A man was arrested in Muzaffarnagar for allegedly posting objectionable content against the country on his Facebook account, police confirmed on Wednesday.

Circle Officer Devvrat Bajpai stated that the accused, identified as Kurban Tyagi, was taken into custody after an investigation validated his involvement in sharing the controversial material online. He has been booked under serious charges, although specific sections were not disclosed.

Tyagi's arrest marks the fourth such case in the district in recent days. Previously, three individuals were apprehended from different police station areas — Kotwali, Bhopa, and Budhana — for allegedly uploading objectionable and pro-Pakistan content on social media platforms.

Authorities continue to monitor online activities closely to curb the spread of anti-national sentiments.
