28-Year-Old Found Hanging in His Home; Police Initiate Legal Proceedings​

A 28-year-old man, identified as Raj Kumar Gupta, allegedly died by suicide following a domestic dispute with his wife in Ballia city, Uttar Pradesh. The tragic incident occurred on Thursday evening in the Bedua locality.

According to local authorities, Raj Kumar was found hanging from a ceiling fan on the second floor of his residence. Upon receiving information, the police team from Kotwali station, led by Station House Officer (SHO) Yogendra Bahadur Singh, promptly reached the spot and took the body into custody.

The body has been sent for post-mortem examination to determine the exact cause of death.

Preliminary Probe Points to Domestic Dispute​

SHO Singh stated that initial investigations suggest the deceased had an argument with his wife earlier in the day, which may have triggered the extreme step. However, police are continuing their inquiry and have confirmed that legal proceedings are currently underway.
