Palakkad/Coimbatore, March 3, 2025 – A tragic discovery unfolded on Monday morning when a 52-year-old man, identified as Krishnakumar, was found dead with a gunshot wound near his residence in Palakkad district, Kerala. Authorities suspect that Krishnakumar may have taken his own life using an air gun in the vicinity of his home, which lies within the jurisdiction of the Mangalam Dam police station.
In a shocking turn of events, Krishnakumar’s wife, 42-year-old Sangeetha, was also found dead at her rented residence in Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. According to Sulur police in Coimbatore district, Sangeetha, who had been living in a house in Pattanam, appeared to have been shot at close range. She succumbed to her injuries immediately after the attack.
The discovery of Sangeetha's body has raised numerous questions, and the authorities are yet to provide further details regarding the circumstances surrounding her death. Her body has been sent to the Coimbatore Medical College Hospital for a postmortem examination.
