New Delhi, May 13 – The body of a 36-year-old man was discovered in a field near Matka Chowk on Bakkarwala Road in Dwarka, South-West Delhi, police said on Friday.

The incident came to light after a PCR call alerted authorities about a body and an abandoned motorcycle in the area. When officers reached the location, they found the body lying approximately 20 metres inside a field, while the bike was left on the roadside.

Initial investigations revealed that the motorcycle was registered under the name Reena Devi. Documents recovered from the bike led to the identification of the deceased as Avnish Saxena, also known as Golu, a resident of Bangali Vihar.

According to sources, Saxena was soon to be married, and preparations were reportedly underway.

Although the exact motive remains unclear, investigators suspect the killing may be linked to personal enmity. Efforts are ongoing to identify the culprits, with police currently reviewing CCTV footage from the vicinity to gather leads.
