New Delhi, February 14 A man who was recently released from prison was shot dead in Rohini, Delhi, on Saturday evening, with police suspecting that a rival gang was responsible, an official said.
Initial investigations suggest that the man, identified as Sahil, was allegedly associated with the Gogi gang, police said.
The incident occurred around 7 pm near Sector 17 of Rohini, where unidentified assailants opened fire on him and fled the scene, they added.
According to police, Sahil sustained a gunshot injury and was pronounced dead.
Police said a case has been registered, and teams have been deployed to identify and apprehend the attackers.
