Five illegal brick kilns demolished in Mankachar
In Mankachar, Assam, the district administration carried out an eviction drive against illegal brick kilns in the Bauskata area of Mankachar on Thursday.
The operation was led by Mankachar Revenue Circle Officer Pranjal Sharma Baruah, during which five illegal brick kilns were demolished. Officials said that notices had been issued earlier, directing the kiln owners to shut down operations within three days.
The administration stated that the action was taken after the owners failed to comply with the notice.
