Solapur, February 12 Maratha quota activist Manoj Jarange has claimed that he is being offered a "contract" to eliminate him for his work in the interest of the community.
He was speaking at a public program on Wednesday in Pandharpur, in the Solapur district.
"I am being offered a contract to eliminate me because some people believe that I am their enemy because I am fighting for my community and its people. These individuals are also trying to persuade some of our close allies to speak against us," Jarange claimed.
"Supari" is a street term for a contract to commit a crime.
