New Delhi, February 12 Guar seed prices declined by Rs 24 to Rs 5,450 per quintal in futures trading on Thursday due to ample supply.
On the National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange, guar seed contracts for March delivery fell by Rs 24, or 0.44 per cent, to Rs 5,450 per quintal, with an open interest of 55,395 lots.
Market participants attributed the downward trend in guar seed prices to increasing supply from growing regions.
