Key Leadership Changes
- Hisashi Takeuchi has been reappointed as Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer for three years, effective April 1, 2025, to March 31, 2028.
- Maheswar Sahu has been reappointed as an Independent Director for an additional five-year term, effective May 14, 2025, to May 13, 2030, subject to shareholder approval.
Profile of Hisashi Takeuchi
- Joined Suzuki Motor Corporation (SMC) in 1986 and held key roles in overseas marketing.
- Served as Managing Director of Magyar Suzuki Corporation, Hungary, in 2009.
- Held executive leadership roles at SMC, Japan, from 2019, managing Asia and India automobile marketing.
- Joined Maruti Suzuki in April 2021 as Joint Managing Director (Commercial).
