Bhind (MP), Feb 2 – A devastating fire broke out at a biscuit factory in Madhya Pradesh's Bhind district in the early hours of Sunday, resulting in the tragic death of one worker and causing extensive damage worth crores of rupees.
According to officials, the blaze erupted around 5:30 AM at the factory located in the Malanpur industrial area, approximately 60 km from the district headquarters. At the time of the incident, nearly 80 workers were on a night shift when the flames rapidly spread across the unit.
Gohad Sub Divisional Magistrate Parag Jain confirmed that one worker died due to asphyxiation, as the thick smoke engulfed the premises.
