Massive Fire Erupts at Warehouse in Gurugram’s Saraswati Enclave; 22 Fire Engines Deployed

Gurugram, April 2 — A massive blaze broke out late Tuesday night at a warehouse in Saraswati Enclave, Gurugram, triggering a large-scale firefighting operation that extended into Wednesday morning.


According to officials, the fire started around 11:30 p.m. and quickly intensified, prompting the deployment of 22 fire engines from across Gurugram, Nuh, and Jhajjar districts.


Jai Narayan, a fire officer from the Sector-37 fire station, confirmed that the department received an emergency call about the incident at 11:39 p.m. on Tuesday. Firefighters rushed to the scene and began efforts to contain the flames, which were still being doused as of Wednesday morning.


“Work is still going on to extinguish the fire. There is no news of any casualties so far. The exact cause of the fire is yet to be ascertained,” Narayan stated.

Authorities continue to investigate the origin of the fire while ensuring safety in the area. No injuries or fatalities have been reported at this time.
