
The pharmaceutical sector has welcomed the Interim Trade Agreement reached between India and the United States of America. R.S. Tanwar, Chairman of the Export Promotion Council for Medical Devices, stated that the agreement will help India establish itself as a global manufacturing hub with expanded market access and increased export opportunities.
He added that this agreement marks a significant turning point for India's medical devices sector. Mr. Tanwar further stated that the reduced tariffs on Indian medical devices will significantly improve India's cost competitiveness in the US market.
