
February 11th, Aizawl: The delegation, consisting of eight members of the Mizoram Journalists Association (MJA) and two officials from the I&PR Directorate, is scheduled to visit New Delhi for seven days. Addressing the journalists, Minister Lalchhanzova emphasized their role as ambassadors and the "face" of the Mizo people outside the state. He described them as the "eyes" of the public, providing a window to the world beyond Mizoram. He urged the delegates to use the tour as a learning experience to broaden their horizons and to ensure the visit brings tangible benefits to the state. The Minister expressed his anticipation for the interesting and informative reports the team would produce upon their return. He further mentioned that plans are in place to organize similar press tours to other locations in the future. MJA President C. Lalrambuatsaiha also spoke at the event, expressing gratitude for the initiative taken under the Minister's dynamic leadership. He wished the team a safe and successful journey, advising them to maintain discipline and cooperate with their team leaders.
