
Union Electronics and Information Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw stated today that Artificial Intelligence will drive the Fifth Industrial Revolution, with a focus on its societal impact, adoption, and governance.
Speaking at an event, Mr. Vaishnaw said that India will host one of the world's largest AI summits this year, signaling the country's growing influence in next-generation technologies.
The Minister noted that the Mumbai-Ahmedabad high-speed train will launch next year. He urged industries, students, and the public to prepare for the AI revolution. Mr. Vaishnaw emphasized that today, every major semiconductor company in the world is designing its most advanced chips in India.
