Hyderabad, May 18 — In a bid to showcase the state's law enforcement capabilities and promote tourism, Miss World 2025 contestants visited the Telangana Police’s Integrated Command Control Center (ICCC) in Hyderabad on Sunday. This visit is part of the 'Secure Hyderabad, Safe Tourism' initiative launched by the state government.

The awareness programme aimed to highlight the strength and preparedness of Telangana’s law and order machinery. As part of the demonstration, attendees witnessed live displays by the Mounted Police, the elite Dog Squad, and OCTOPUS, the state's commando unit, according to official sources.

Later in the evening, the beauty pageant delegates are scheduled to visit the Telangana State Secretariat, where they will offer floral tributes at the statue of Telangana Thalli. The programme will include a 3D mapping and drone show illustrating the implementation of key government schemes.

Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is expected to attend the event along with cabinet ministers, advisors, MLAs, MLCs, and top secretariat officials.

The Miss World 2025 contest, which commenced with a grand opening in Hyderabad on May 10, is scheduled to run until May 3, 2025. As part of their itinerary, the contestants have already engaged in various sporting events and visited Ramoji Film City, the world’s largest film studio complex, on Saturday.

With this international platform, the Telangana government is executing an elaborate plan to position the state as a premier global destination for both tourism and investment.
