
February 11th, Aizawl: The award was presented by Achievers’ World and the Indian Achiever Forum during the ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ summit, which was attended by Union Minister of State Harsh Malhotra. The award recognizes Mizoram's significant progress in healthcare, including maintaining one of the lowest Infant Mortality Rates in India, successfully implementing the Mizoram Universal Health Care System (MUHCS), and securing National Quality Assurance Standards (NQAS) certification for numerous government hospitals.
Speaking at the award ceremony, Minister Lalrinpuii dedicated the recognition to the collective hard work of her department officials. She used the opportunity to highlight that Mizoram currently receives the lowest volume of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) funds in the country. She urged corporate leaders present at the summit to collaborate with the state government to promote development in the health and nutrition sectors.
The Minister was accompanied by her husband, Rev. Dr. K. Sapthanga, and senior officials from the Health Department.
