
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Assam tomorrow and will inaugurate and launch various projects worth more than 5450 crore rupees in Guwahati.
Around 10:30 AM, Mr. Modi will arrive at the Emergency Landing Facility on Moran Bypass in Dibrugarh, where he will witness an aerial display of fighter jets, transports, and helicopters.
Later in the afternoon, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Kumar Bhaskar Varma Setu across the Brahmaputra River, which was built at a cost of over 3000 crore rupees. He is also scheduled to inaugurate the National Data Centre for the North Eastern Region at Amingaon in the Kamrup district of Assam.
The Prime Minister will also inaugurate IIM Guwahati, which will significantly boost higher education and management education in the North-Eastern Region.
The Prime Minister's Office stated that the development projects that the Prime Minister will launch tomorrow will improve connectivity, strengthen digital infrastructure, promote higher education, and enhance public transport, thereby significantly boosting development in the North-Eastern Region.
