
Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma met with senior officials of the Indian Air Force in Moran on Thursday.
The meeting focused on preparations for the Emergency Landing Facility, which will be inaugurated on February 14, arrangements for aircraft landings, an air show, and the upcoming visit of Prime Minister Narendra Modi to Dibrugarh.
The Chief Minister also reviewed preparations on the ground by inspecting the highway stretch in Moran and coordinating with the district administration and the Indian Air Force. The Prime Minister is scheduled to inaugurate the Emergency Landing Facility in Moran, during which the Indian Air Force will also present an air show.
Cabinet Minister Jogen Mohan, Minister Pabitra Margherita, and MLA Chakradhar Gogoi were present during the review.
