New Delhi, February 12 A 27-year-old nurse was found hanging in her rented accommodation in Mukherji Nagar, a neighborhood in northwest Delhi, on Thursday, police said.
The deceased, Priyanka, who was originally from Muzaffarpur in Bihar, was employed at a private hospital, according to police.
A PCR call regarding a suspected suicide was received, after which a team rushed to the rented room in Dheerpur village.
"The woman was found hanging inside her locked room. She was taken down, and further legal procedures were initiated," a senior police officer said.
A crime team was called to the scene, and the area was examined. However, no suicide note was found in the room, police said.
The body has been taken to the BJRM mortuary for post-mortem examination, and inquest proceedings have been initiated, they added.
