Mumbai, February 10 A 19-year-old woman was shot dead in the Govandi area of Mumbai on Tuesday afternoon, a police official said.
The attackers fled after shooting the woman on the street. She was rushed to a nearby hospital but was pronounced dead before admission, the official said.
The woman's name was not disclosed.
Police identified the suspects from CCTV footage, and further investigation was underway, the official said.
