JAMMU, FEBRUARY 13: Chief Secretary Atal Dulloo reviewed the progress of the "Nasha Mukt J&K" campaign, led by the Information Department with support from key departments across the Union Territory, which focuses on outreach-based initiatives. Senior officials attended the meeting, while Deputy Commissioners participated via video conferencing.

He emphasized the need to link the "Nasha Mukt J&K" portal with the National NMBA portal for better monitoring and directed the mapping of trained counselors with full credentials on the platform. He also called for certified courses in de-addiction and counseling, as well as the expansion of training facilities, along with the development of targeted awareness content for different groups.

Officials informed that over 9,000 outreach events have been held, reaching more than 4.5 lakh participants, with 218 individuals rehabilitated.

Reaffirming the government's commitment to combating drug abuse, the Chief Secretary emphasized coordination, capacity building, and technology-driven monitoring to strengthen the campaign across J&K.
